About Me

Kay

My name is Kay, and I’m a psychologist. I’ve worked as a Therapist and Life Coach for over 20 years, working one-to-one with people to help them with their health, their happiness and success, developing their life skills and talents till they get where they want to go. It’s a deeply satisfying and enjoyable career, and I’ve loved every minute of it.
I see my patients for an hour at a time, and with only 24 hours in every day that restricts the amount of people I can help , and how much I can do for them. After a while I began to realise I want to do more to help the patients I have, those who I can’t fit into my schedule, and those who just need a little bit of advice every now and again.

Why I want to help people more

As well as tme restrictions, I myself have suffered poor physical health, with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and it’s severely limited what I can do. For years I managed my CFS with the classic strategy of doing as much as I can on good days, and just resting up on bad days, but I found that over time I was getting worse and worse, not better. And looking worse too! Very demoralising! Nothing I did seemed to work. Like most people, I’m keen on Health, Happiness and Wellbeing, and like most women, Beauty too! And all were slipping away. As well I feeling ill, I was looking old. You can imagine how I felt about that!

So I completely changed my approach. I started focusing on anti-ageing rather than simple wellbeing. And since I was earning less and less as my energy dwindled, it had to be on a budget. I just didn’t have the financial clout anymore to sign up for expensive treatments, buy costly products, or undergo pricey procedures. So I experimented with things I could purchase and use relatively cheaply, and bit by bit I discovered what worked for me. I’m delighted to say I’m in much better shape now!

My goals now

I’d still like to help people! So I’ve gathered together a collection of resources that I have used and have worked for me, or that friends and colleagues have recommended, to share with you. There are books, health supplements, beauty gadgets, products, learning sources, and so on.

Please remember I’m not a medical professional – I’m just personally recommending things that have worked for me or my friends. If you fancy trying something I’ve recommended, it’s always a good idea to check with your own medical professional as to whether they are right for you. We are all individuals, there is no one blueprint that fits us all and you may need to experiment, and get advice, to find what works for you!

If you ever need a hand or have ay questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.

Wishing you Youth, Happiness and Wellbeing!

Kay
